New partnership will bring the WCI Europe community together at ICS each year, with mentoring, networking and dedicated conference content

The International Composites Summit (ICS) has announced a new partnership with Women in the Composites Industry (WCI), which will see ICS become the annual UK gathering for the WCI Europe community.
The partnership creates a regular meeting point for women working across the composites and advanced materials industry, bringing the WCI Europe community together as part of the wider international network at ICS.
Women in the Composites Industry promotes the education, professional development and advancement of women, building a network that connects people across sectors and career levels. Networking and mentorship are central to the organisation’s work, helping members build relationships, share experience and support one another throughout their careers.
At ICS 2026, taking place on 1-2 December at The Drum in Wembley, London, WCI will have a dedicated programme across both days of the event for UK and other women in attendance.
On Day 1, WCI will host a career exchange session from 3:00-4:00 pm, creating an informal environment for women at different stages of their careers to meet, exchange experiences and make new connections.
Day 2 will begin with WCI breakfast networking from 8:30-9:30 am, bringing the community together over coffee and pastries before the conference and exhibition programme gets underway.
Later that morning, from 11:00-11:30am, WCI will take to the main conference stage for a panel discussion focused on making connections and exploring the role that professional relationships, networks, and mentorship can play in building careers and strengthening the composites industry.

Alongside the WCI programme, ICS 2026 will include the main ICS conference, Future 10 innovation programme, workshops and networking, as well as a new collaboration with CompositesWorld bringing its Carbon Fiber conference programming to Europe as part of the event.
